It is rare that I have the honor to photograph a wedding of a dear friend of mine. And it is one of the greatest honor I can bestow on someone close to me, not only does it allow me to be part of their amazing day, but it allows me to give them something personal; the way I see them and their love for their partner. Neill and I have come quite a long way, we have become really great friends, and believe me…with “the trio” the name is still up for debate haha. but the combination of Neill, Jacques and I at any local “kuier plek” is a deadly combination…it always ends with a lot of fun.
Alicia and Neill decided to tie the knot at the beautiful Dullstroom Wedding venue The Silver Sixpence, a beautiful farm near Dullstroom that was converted into an amazing wedding venue for their eldest son, who then inspired the daughter, and so they decided to make the venue public. And wow! I truly loved photographing here! You have so many different options, so many different looks. Its a breath taking venue.
Neill called me up one day and asked me, would I rather be a guest at his wedding, or the photographer…Now asking that to a photographer… haha so I replied in a very calm voice…Ill be honored to be the photographer…cause inside I was about to explode of excitement, because Ill be able to contribute something special to their lives, something that they can relive one day. haha So that is exactly what we have done.
So without any further a due:
